In Thank Goodness You're Here!, the main character is a small Salesman R. English. He is a little fellow, of stout stature, yellow skin, and mute demeanour.
The unnamed salesman gets sent by his boss to the town of Barnsworth to help the Mayor with a problem but Salesman R. English has time to kill, so he goes about fixing everyone's problems before realizing that they just have more problems. Eventually he goes back into the town hall just in time for the Mayor to call him in only to realize that the Mayor just has another stupid problem.
Physical appearance[]
Salesman R. English is pretty small, but it is unknown exactly how small because he changes sizes frequently. He wears a white business shirt and a red tie with some blue pants and grey shoes. He has orange hair, yellow skin, and blue eyes.
Personality[]
Salesman R. English's personality is not exactly clear due to him not speaking throughout the game, but he expressed emotions a lot, especially in the cutscenes and ending song. When we first saw him, he seemed content with helping others and doing his job.
However when he caught a bubble and got lifted into the air, he had sparkles in his eyes and smiled, presumably glad to take a break from helping. This didn't last long, as the bubble popped, and he fell, accidentally "catching" Bootleg Bill. As he was paraded by the pedestrians, he looked concernedly at the escaping criminal. In the ending song cutscene, he gets progressively more upset as he had to do all of the townspeople's bidding and frantically sprinted to the the Mayor's office.
